File Explorer

File explorer allows you to securely share files with Optimise without attaching the file to an email or using third party solutions such as SFTP.

How to Use File Explorer

You can upload file types such as:

  • Excel - .xls, .xlsx
  • PowerPoint - .ppt, .pptx
  • Word - .doc, .docx
  • PDF - .pdf
  • CSV - .csv

Folders

You can create folders to organise your files - select the folder name in the File Location field when you upload a file.

Name

By default this will show the name of the file you've uploaded - but you can change it to something more suitable if you wish.

Category

The categories will differ depending upon whether you're uploading files for a publisher or advertiser, select the most appropriate category.

Description

This isn't a required field but you can enter a description with detail about the file you're uploading.

File Retention

Display:

Media packs

Retained for up to 12 months, unless a shorter expiry is defined at the point of upload.

Campaign performance

Retained for 6 months.

Transaction enquiries and misc files

Retained for 3 months.

Onboarding forms

Not subject to standard retention periods and may be retained as required.
