Publishers offering consumers voucher codes and discounts are one of the most popular channels and providing Publishers with a feed of active offers, discounts and vouchers can assist in developing this channel.

Adding Vouchers / Discount Codes

We recommend adding vouchers, coupons and offers for your Publishers to use in their promotions. Affiliates, can download an aggregated feed of all Merchant promotions making it easy for them to integrate your offers into their site.

You can provide Publishers with details of all offers, vouchers and discounts by manually adding or bulk uploading the information into your account.

Unique Voucher Codes

It is possible to assign a unique voucher to an individual Publisher. This can be useful when you've negotiated a specific incentive with a Publisher and you want of measure the performance of the Voucher with that Publisher.

Vanity Voucher Codes

In this situation you may wish to offer a vanity voucher code or vanity coupon to the Publisher.

A vanity coupon code is a unique, branded coupon for a specific publisher. It enhances brand recognition, boosts conversions and simplifies tracking. Benefits include increased engagement and trust by consumers as it demonstrates that there is a relationship between the offer, Publisher & Advertiser.

  • PUBLISHER10 — 10% discount code for a specific Publisher.
  • BF15PUBLISHER — 15% discount code for Black Friday for a specific Publisher.
  • BF10 — 10% generic discount code for all Publishers.

Offline Tracking with Voucher Codes

One use of unique voucher codes & coupons is to record and attribute sales that Publishers may have generated offline (E.g., In-store discounts promoted via Publisher media).

Voucher Code Controls

When working with Publishers on specific initiatives you may to control the usage of the voucher codes across different Publishers. For example, if you have an agreement to uniquely promote a code with a given Publisher you will want to prevent those vouchers from being promoted on other Publisher media.

To achieve this you can enable the Auto Reject Invalid Voucher Codes feature on your Campaign. This ensures that any uniquely assigned voucher code in your Vouchers will be automatically rejected if the conversion is attributed to a Publisher different to the one you have defined.

Vouchers will be rejected with a rejection code of: 214 / Breach of IAB Voucher Code code of conduct.
